About the Shop

Owned by Megan Gilger, Hitch Print Shop began out of a passion for creating hand drawn type and illustratrions for her blog The Fresh Exchange. Residing in Traverse City, Michigan, Megan finds much of her inspiration for raw and natural style from her everyday surroundings.

Megan is a designer by trade and does all custom design work through Hitch Design Studio, where she develops brands, consults companies on brand consistency, and designs full collateral packages.

All type is created using Megan’s hand written style and many original quotes and sayings that Megan creates. Her process of creating naturally allowed for these doodlings and type to emerge in order to create brands her clients are proud of. So it only seemed fitting to share them with others. Hoping to inspire and spread the joy of the handmade with others all over, she developed this line of prints to bring happiness and inspiration daily from the first view of the day to the last flicker of light at night.
